An excellent speller will be able to spell correctly all of the words that go in these blanks:
  1. You might want to consider a hairy little cat___________r as a good, low-budget pet.  They don’t eat much, they don’t embarrass you by sniffing your in-laws, and when they grow up, they sprout wings and fly away.

  2. If you’re constantly waffling back and forth between being a brunette, a redhead or a blonde, you probably just have a cha___________e nature.  But if you’re constantly switching from brunettes to redheads to blondes, you’re probably just an ordinary guy.

  3. If your personality is so annoying that you find it difficult to hold onto a job, don’t give up.  Try working at a bill collection agency, where they will actually pay you to har________s people as often as you like.

  5. The worst thing about being told to “use your own jud___________t”  is not having anyone to blame when things go miserably wrong.  But you can always do the next best thing:  Blame the person who told you that.
