Where Do You Find It?
|
Information Seeking -- Level 1, Part 3
Directions
Look at the questions given. Determine what the key word(s)
might help you determine in which national park this item is found. The items could be a
location or an animal.
Open a browser (either Netscape or Internet Explorer) and
then select a search engine to use. (All of these items can be found using AltaVista (http://www.altavista.com)
Input the key words you selected. Remember, if you want two
words to be stuck together and not separate, put quotation marks around them.
Often the location of the item is what you will find on the
Web page, but the national park is not given. If that is the case, you need to look on a
map and figure out which national park is at the location that is given. (Clue: Generally
there is only one possibility.)
List the national park where you will find the item and
answer any questions about that item.
