The next day (June 24) did not yield much to write about. It was mostly a day of hill climbing. There were three major climbs in the 25 miles it took to get from Devils Tower to Interstate 90, which I then took to Spearfish, South Dakota. Once on I-90, I was heading East (am I going home or what?). Actually, the real diversion was the jog West to Devils Tower, and I was just now lining myself up for the trip through Nebraska and Colorado to Rocky Mountain National Park. The only other item of interest for the day was a flat tire that I found when I came out of the restaurant just before going to my campground (half mile away). The only thing I can say is that the timing was a whole lot better than most any other time it could have happened.
