January 7, 2000

The following day (1-7) I rode mostly downhill from Mayhill to Artesia, a much larger town in the high desert.  I enjoyed the last couple of days in the mountains – the scenery is much nicer than the flat desert where I have spent much of my time lately.  Some photos from yesterday and today: TN00038A.GIF (1712 bytes)

Don’t worry, I’m not going through the “nowhere” bit again.  If I had anything to say, it would be something about nothing, but nothing isn’t on my schedule, so I believe everything has already been said.
