Much of the next
day (8-14) was spent getting my bike to the bike shop (tune-up and new tires) and then
getting David to the train station in Everett where he was getting on Amtrak for his
return to New York. We parted with a promise to stay in touch and a hope that he might get
to join me in Texas for a few days in January. Solitude is good, but so is the chance to
make a new friend and have someone to experience part of this journey with. It was a good
trip across Washington with you David – good luck in Graduate School. |
