Introduction | Task | Process | Resources | Evaluation | Conclusion

Our universe is a vast unlimited area of space.  Students, teachers, and scientists are very interested in learning more about quasars, nebulas, black holes, and so much more!

·       So here is your opportunity to select a topic of choice from our classroom “Universe Discovery” bulletin board and become the class expert.  Ask yourself…What do I want to know more about?  When you can answer that question you have found your topic.

Your task is to learn all you can about your selected topic.  Make sure you are prepared to research at school and home.  Keep all notes and materials in your science journal.  Several research days will be scheduled at school and you will need all materials during these valuable data collection days.

I will be working closely with all of you!  Please question me when necessary on your projects progress.

1.               Select a topic and get the okay to start from Mrs. Ford.

2.               Research your topic in the following ways:

a.               Select one or two topics from the resource web site list below.  Print or take notes on your related topic.  Print any pictures related to your topic that you would like to share in your presentation.  Record the web site address so you can reference this resource on your final credits page.

b.               Select and then read one or two books on your topic.   Again, take notes and copy or draw any pictures that you would like to share in your presentation.  Again, you will need to record the book title, author and/or publishing company for your final credits page. You can find many different resources from the classroom resource center.
