Learning about the universe will be sure to take you places beyond your
wildest imagination.

The Universe Discovery Project is a research project.
You will need to research to find out important facts about your topic.

These are some things you might want to look for when you
are doing your research:

bodies in space

Characteristics about your body in space

Other
interesting facts about your body in space.
Once you have completed your
research, you are ready to start working on your travel advertisement.
Use the facts that you found, and create a travel advertisement for your
body in space.

Process
The first step in completing this assignment involves
searching for information.

You will choose one of the web sites listed in the
resources section as a starting point in your search for information.

Go into the site, and search for information on your
topic

Read the information related to your topic, and take
notes.

If you feel that the site you searched did not provide
enough information, you may choose another web site from the list of sites
in the Resources section.

go into another web site, and follow the same steps mentioned above.
When you feel that you have enough information to
complete the assignment, then work on taking your notes and put them in the form
of a travel advertisement.
When you have the travel advertisement written, start
planning on the visual(s) you will create for your presentation.
Remember, the visuals should aid your presentation.
After you are done making your visual(s), you should put
your travel advertisement on note cards or on note paper.
The final step of this assignment involves:
practice. This is the time
that you practice saying your travel ad, so that you are confident and are able
to look out at the audience. While
you practice, be sure to time your presentation so that you can be sure that it
falls between 1 minute and 3 minutes.
