Who
wants to be a great reading detective? Grab
your magnifying glass and
· Ready….choose one reading activity from the Reading Detective packet
· Set….gather up any materials you need to complete the task
· Go….complete the task and show it to the teacher
Goal:
The student will earn a Delightful Detective reward for every 5
activities successfully completed…while improving
reading comprehension skills.
The Process and Resources
Not all resources will be used by all students.
The following are some suggestions to improve the reading comprehension
skills for students in grades 1, 2 , and 3.
Appropriate reading level assessment is necessary, so each student will
meet success in the task. Teacher
observation and assessment is necessary.
