It is believed that by the year 2030 a
comet will destroy the earth. A group of scientists have developed a space
station that will be able to accommodate the entire population of the earth.

Your
problem, is to create environments similar to those here on earth. You have
been chosen to be part of a team that will ensure that this space station can
sustain all forms of life.:

A
final presentation will be given by your panel of scientists, to the class
(which represents the United Nations). The United Nations will vote after all
presentations have been made, on which plan will be implemented.
1.You should research the internet and
list information on the needs of living things, for example- (different ways
that an organism survives, breaths, makes energy, moves, responds, grows and
adapts.) Place all the
information in your Science journal.
2.
You will create a poster showing the basic needs of living organisms.
3.
Your team will present a plan showing your
space station environment and
how it meets the needs of living organisms.
