Dear Traveler,

          Now that you have finished your “Landmark Vacation,” I’m sure that you’re up for a real encounter.  See if you can find a “famous” landmark near you to visit in person.  I’m sure you have one right in your own community.  It may not be as tall as the Statue of Liberty or as heavy as the Hoover Dam but it was built for a special reason.  Don’t forget to take along a measuring tool!!
