Introduction
Homes are shelters that protect us from heat, cold, rain, and all other types of weather.
Homes also protect us from wild animals and enemies.
You have read the story of the THREE LITTLE PIGS.
Which pig do you feel had the BEST house?
The Task
Your job is to decide which pig or pigs had the BEST house.
The Process
Listen to (or read) the story of the THREE LITTLE PIGS.
You will design three houses for the pigs.
Make a straw house (Easter grass), a stick house (tongue depressors and clay), and a brick house (Legos or building blocks). (Teacher aids or parent volunteer's assistance will be needed.)
Which house(s) withstood the wolf's blow (hair dryer)?
Draw a picture of the house you thought was BEST.
