Research:  Research the notorious criminal, Al Capone.  You will find out about his past, what he was notorious for, what charges put him in Alcatraz, when he was there, and when and how he died.  All the information you find will be done in PowerPoint form.

You can record your findings in several ways.  Check out these websites for some ideas on how to record your information.

 

While researching try to find out about Al Capone’s:

  • What is he famous for?
  • What was his life like at Alcatraz?
    • Special privileges?
    • Years there?
    • Why he was there?
  • When did he die?
    • Causes?
    • Where?
  • Any other interesting facts you find!!!

 

 

 

 

Once all of your information is collected you will organize your information into a PowerPoint presentation.

 

The PowerPoint must:

  1. Your PowerPoint must have at least 10 slides of information, plus one title slide (total of 11 slides).
  2. Title page must include the title “Al Capone”, your name, and an illustration that reflects your research.
  3. Each slide must have a background that matches your topic, clip art, and text that explains your subject.
  4. Text on each PowerPoint slide must have a headline (such as Family Life) and at least three supporting details that you learned from your research.
  5. Each slide must have a transition into the next.
  6. Five of the 10 clip art requirements must be animated or moved into the screen in some fashion.
  7. Sounds, music, and links to internet are optional.
