Do you love animals? What kind of animal would you like for a pet? Let's explore zoo animals to find the perfect pet for you!!!

You are going on a safari and you are the KING!!! Your parents have given you permission to choose any animal you want for a pet! While you are looking for your perfect pet, choose four other animals that wouldn't be quite perfect. After learning about these animals, write your own book using Dear Zoo as a pattern.

1. Read Dear Zoo.
2. Go on safari to one of these zoos.

3. Pick one animal that would not be a perfect pet.
4. Click on the picture and drag it to the
desktop.
Open a word processing document.
Click on the animal icon and drag it to the blank page
of the word processor.
Click center on the toolbar.
5. Write about this animal using Dear Zoo as a pattern.
Example:
6. Print this page.
7. Pick three more animals that would NOT be perfect. Follow step #4, #5 and #6 for these animals.

9. Print this page.
10. Answer animal fact questions about your five animals.

If you would like to learn more about your favorite pet, go to the following sites. With this additional information, you might be able to convince your parents to get a new pet.
