Social Issues:

1.         Choose cooperative learning groups.

2.         Select a topic.

•             Affirmative Action

•             Nepotism

•             Get out and Vote

•             Abolish Racism

•             Save the Rainforest

•             Abolish the Death Penalty

•             Continue the Death Penalty

•             Support Euthanasia

3.         Go on line and research the topic. Print and keep the information.

4.         Assign roles:

•                         Spokesperson (will do the talking)
•                         Writer (will write the script)
•                         Photographer (will do the videotaping)
•                         Editor (will check everything for accuracy)

            Think about--

                        What should the public know?

                        What audience are you talking to?

5.         Think about costumes and props.

6.         Practice

7.         Film and play back to the class.
